I am myself. A texas raised designer who grew up in the infancy of the internet for the masses. Starting with a copy of Photoshop 4.0 and a 14.4 modem I started learning about web design and development. Eventually after working at some small design firms through high school I made the move to Michigan to get my education.

In 2005 I graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with my degree in Visual Communications: Print Media. Why print media? The print media program really focused on design and design principles, something I felt was lacking from their digital media program. I knew I was going to stick to the web, but I felt that the need to have a great design was just as important as making the site work.

Since college I’ve worked as both an in-house designer and am agency designer for both print and web. I’ve done everything from a 50+ page perfect bind catalog with a spot varnish to the design work of an iphone application to everything else in between.

What I can bring to the table is someone with a deep passion for usability and design along with the knowledge of front end development. I’m not afraid to debate my ideas or even play the devil’s advocate as long as it means that a project is looked at from all angles and the best possible outcome is achieved.
